Devilled Sauce

Recipe ingredients quantity Devilled Sauce per 4 persons.

  • -250 ml of dry white wine
  • -1 Teaspoon of vinegar
  • -shallot chopped
  • -a sprig of thyme
  • -a piece of bay leaf
  • -one tablespoon of flour
  • -a tablespoon of tomato sauce
  • a-spoonful of French mustard
  • -25 Gr. of butter
  • -salt and pepper.

Instructions for preparation of the recipe: Devilled Sauce

  1. Heat up a small saucepan with the wine, vinegar, shallots, thyme, bay leaf, salt and pepper, meanwhile, put the butter in another small saucepan with a tablespoon of flour, stir over moderate heat until the flour is toasted, then add a cup of warm water into which you have dissolved the tomato sauce
  2. Cook for 15 minutes
  3. When the wine and the vinegar will be reduced- you pass the sauce through a sieve and mix it with the flour
  4. Let it cook over medium heat for 10 minutes and add you to the top French mustard
